Résumé: In this documentary research the main objective is to analyze the use of advertising and promotional tools in the business environment in order to know their influence on the development of SMEs in the Canton La Troncal through qualitative research. In order to obtain information, an interview was conducted. This research is very useful, because marketing tools such as advertising and promotion, which are used more frequently to help the companies' development, will be made known. Advertising is present in the environment where we live, nowadays it has become part of everyone's daily life, in any activity or situation in which we find ourselves we can see and hear it, we find it in radios, television, media, transports, signs where you go and in many other places. Companies need these marketing strategies to continue within the market and be participatory, owners when applying them must be aware of the changes that occur every day and adapt them to current trends, without neglecting how important it is. have a control of the scope that has been achieved and if the objectives were met, through this control the company can take correct decisions or different measures that contribute to their services or products improve their quality.
Description: Dentro de la investigación se tiene como objetivo analizar el uso de las herramientas publicitarias y promocionales en el elemento empresarial, con la finalidad de conocer su influencia en el desarrollo de las Pymes, en el proceso de la investigación se da a conocer los conceptos según autores, características, funciones, objetivos y medios masivos de publicidad y promoción.
